This notice explains what I do with your personal information when you use this
website or enquire about therapy, counselling or coaching.
Please read it. If anything is unclear, ask me and I will explain it plainly.

The short version
- Enquiries you send through this website are emailed to me and are not stored
in the website’s database. - I do not set any tracking or analytics cookies unless you accept them.
- I never sell your information, and I do not use it for advertising.
- You can ask me to delete everything I hold about you at any time.
What I collect, and why
When you send an enquiry
What: your name, email address, telephone number if you choose to give it,
the service you are interested in, and whatever you write in your message.
Why: so I can reply to you.
My lawful basis: your consent. You give it by ticking the box on the form,
and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing me.
Because I work in therapy, a message may contain information about your health
or state of mind. Under UK GDPR that is special category data and gets
additional protection. For that, my lawful basis is your explicit consent,
which is why the tick box says so specifically rather than in general terms.
The form asks for the minimum I need in order to reply. You do not have to tell
me anything about your situation in order to make contact.
When you message me on WhatsApp
What: the phone number you message from, your WhatsApp display name,
and whatever you choose to write.
Why: so I can answer you.
My lawful basis: your consent, given by choosing to start the conversation.
WhatsApp messages are end-to-end encrypted, so WhatsApp cannot read them.
They are stored on your phone and on mine rather than on this website, and
Meta still sees that you and I exchanged messages, and when.
Please do not send me anything about your health or state of mind over WhatsApp
before we have spoken. Use it to ask a question or arrange a time. Anything
clinical belongs in a session or in the enquiry form on this website, where the
explicit consent described above applies.
You can ask me to delete our WhatsApp conversation at any time, and you can
delete it from your side yourself.
When you book a consultation
Bookings are handled by Cal.com, who process your name, email address and
chosen time on my behalf. Their privacy notice applies alongside this one.
When you pay for a session
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and
never reach this website or me. I only see that a payment succeeded, and the
last four digits of the card.
When you offer a testimonial
If you use the feedback page, I collect the name you choose to display, your
words, optionally your location, an optional star rating, an optional photograph
and optionally your email address.
Nothing is published until you have ticked the permission box and I have
reviewed it. Your email address is never published. You can ask me to remove a
published testimonial at any time and I will do so within a reasonable time
frame, without question.
When you visit the website
Essential cookies keep the site working. Nothing optional is set unless you
accept it in the banner. See the cookie policy for detail.
My hosting provider keeps standard server logs including IP addresses, for
security and troubleshooting.
The consent record
When you submit the enquiry form or a testimonial, I record the date and time,
your IP address and the exact wording you agreed to.
This exists to protect you. It means I can demonstrate what you actually
consented to, rather than what a page happens to say later. It contains no
message content.
Who else sees your information
Very few people, and only where necessary:
- Hostinger, who host the website and email infrastructure
- Cal.com, who process consultation bookings
- Stripe, who securely process payment transactions
- My accountant and HMRC, for statutory invoices and business tax records
I do not sell your information. I do not share it for advertising.

Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask me to:
- See a copy of what I hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it
- Restrict or object to how I use it
- Transfer it to someone else
- Withdraw consent at any time
Email hello@rohitsujanani.com and I will respond within one month. There is
no charge.
If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, please tell me
first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain directly to the
Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Security
The website runs over an encrypted connection. Enquiries are emailed rather than
stored in the website database, so there is no collection of enquiry data sitting
on the server. Fonts and scripts are served from my own server rather than
third-party services, so your visit is not shared with anyone before you have
agreed to it.
In an emergency
This website is not monitored and is not an emergency service. If you or
someone else is at immediate risk, call 999, contact NHS 111, or call
Samaritans free on 116 123, at any hour.
Changes to this notice
If I change it, I will update the date at the top. Significant changes affecting
how I use your information will be brought to your attention directly.
